The slamming, smashing, ripping and tearing are done for 2025!
It’s that time again—another epic SYLEX SLAM is in the books!
This year, 44 fierce competitors threw down in 6 intense rounds of Swedish-style old-school magic! All vying for the crown (well, sylex) of NJOS domination! The stakes were high, the action was electric, and only one could emerge victorious, and guess what? The trophy stays in New Jersey for another year!
A massive congratulations to your Sylex Slam II Champion: Jonathan Lai!
This year's event was a huge challenge, and Jonathan came out on top as the undisputed champion of the NJOS scene! Here was his haul, and his deck photo:
Next, I want to give a MASSIVE shout out to Legendary artist: Scott Kirschner! An astounding artist, a great guy, and just a complete joy to have at the event! (Thank you all for keeping him so busy all day as well!)

My deck photo: as the T.O., I couldn't play in the event since I was running it, but my 66 card deck of annihilation definitely got some upgrades that day! Just a few left to get demolished, namely: Serra Angel, Maze of Ith, Dust to Dust, Relic Barrier, and The Hive (The ones I have in there are way to nice and clean). Thanks JonDaBeard for the "mailed in" COP red, and Chris G's son for "fixing" my regrowth!
