About the Sylex Slam:
This event is an annual celebration of Old School card
games, and the community that surrounds them. Though the competition may be fierce, the main goal is to to have a good time. If you are only in it to win it, you may find yourself rather disappointed! Community! Culture! other "C" words! Come have some fun.

This will be an Atlantic Rules Old School tournament.

Entry fee will be $20, Each player will receive Joven approved swag.
(Don't forget to bring a card for the signing pool, something you would want!)

*Food Included, BYOB*

Each round will be 50 minutes.

There will be no draws, if you go to time, you flip orbs.

There will be prizes for:

-1st Place

-Top 4

-Dead Center

-Spice Lords (Playoff for KING OF SPICE!)

-King of Spice

-Terrible 2 (Playoff for the right to concede for DEAD LAST!)

-DEAD LAST

-Whatever else I come up with.

Round 1 Starts at 12:00 PM

Deck photo due by the start of the event (If its not submitted, you can't win the Spice prize).

Sylex Slam Proxy Policy: If you plan to use any proxies they should be at least somewhat interesting! Drawn, altered, or painted. Put some effort into it, DO NOT JUST PRINT THEM OUT!  Giv'em a little "Pizazz"! Here are some examples of GOOD PROXIES:

The Sorcery Slam! Our 1st annual Sorcery Event
There are 20 spots available.

This will be a standard rules Sorcery tournament.
You must have a 60 Card minimum Spell book, 30 card Atlas, and 0-10 card Collection.

Each round will consist of a single, 40 minute game. (Best of 1)

Entry fee will be $10, Each player will receive a special promotional token.

There will be prizes for:

1st Place, Top 4, Most thematic Deck, Dead Last

(Prizes TBA)

Round 1 Starts at 1:00 PM

Just Keep Rescuing Canines and Cats (JKRC) a North Jersey based group dedicated to rescuing homeless, stray, and owner-surrendered animals, with a focus on dogs at risk of euthanasia. This is a LOCAL organization, and if you have any questions about them, or are interested in possible adoption, speak with Cause (Parker), as he works directly with them.
